Patricia S. Maloof, Ph.D., is a medical anthropologist with a specialization in refugee and immigrant health. She is the Director of Development with the Catholic Legal Immigration Network and formerly served as the Director of Refugee Programs with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Dr. Maloof is also a senior consultant with the National Center for Cultural Competence, Center for Child and Human Development, Georgetown University Medical Center and teaches part-time at the Catholic University of America.
Dr. Maloof advocates, publishes, and conducts trainings on cultural diversity as it relates to access to health care. She is trained as an instructor for medical interpreters and serves on the Program Services Committee of the March of Dimes, Maryland-National Capital Area Chapter. Dr. Maloof is a founding Board member of the Voice of Love.
